Mimi’s Porch: Where Legacy Meets Love

Too often, during the overwhelming process of settling the legal and financial transfer of wealth after a loved one passes, relationships between family members are strained - or even broken. The very people we hope to protect through planning can end up feeling disconnected or lost in the process.
Mimi’s Porch exists to change that.
Founded in honor of the “Mimis” in my life - my great aunt Marguerite, my daughter Camilla, and my husband’s grandmother Jane - Mimi’s Porch is rooted in the belief that a family legacy is the most valuable inheritance of all. Perhaps in your family, the name is Rose, Jack, or John. The names vary, but the thread is the same: love across generations.
The name also comes from a real place: my great aunt Mimi’s mountain cabin, where a back porch overlooked a rushing creek. It was there, in that sacred space, that difficult family conversations took place - where truths were spoken, feelings were acknowledged, and future plans were made with love and honesty.
At Mimi’s Porch, we bring that same spirit to our work. Through a compassionate blend of professional fiduciary guidance and end-of-life doula support, we offer holistic, heart-centered care for individuals and families navigating aging, death, and legacy.
Our mission is to help families build generational wellness - the kind that goes deeper than finances. It’s about living fully now, healing old patterns, and having the conversations we’ve been avoiding. It’s about creating a legacy that’s clear, kind, and aligned.
If you’re ready to begin your own legacy conversation, there’s a seat waiting for you on the porch. Let’s talk.
